I loved the cool and warm neutrals that dominate this scene. The coral-colored leaves of the underbrush made such a nice contrast against them.

    This is beautiful. One look at the painting and I could feel the calmness of the scene, with its balance of light and shadow, and warm and (mostly) cool tones. I think it's wonderful how you can portray the sense of calm in nature through a painting! :)
